Thacker Hodskins & Knight LLP is a locally operated law firm proudly serving Owensboro, Kentucky, and the surrounding communities. Founded in 1938 by G. Wallace Thacker, the firm originally operated under the name Thacker and Sweeney, opening its first office in the historic Holland Building in Owensboro. Over the decades, the firm has evolved and grown, moving to the Ames Building and ultimately settling in its current location at 209 W. 4th Street around 1970.

The firm has changed names and partners just a few times over the years to what is currently the firm of Thacker, Hodskins, and Knight, LLP. Although a few of the names have changed periodically, the tradition of serving the residents of the Owensboro/Daviess County area has not.
